Tow Rite Electric Trailer Brake Assembly

The Tow Rite Electric Trailer Brake Assembly is a complete electric drum brake for trailer axles. It is a replacement or upgrade for worn or damaged trailer brakes. Electric trailer brakes work with an in-cab electric brake controller (sold separately). This gives the driver adjustable, responsive stopping control without hydraulic lines or an actuator.

Key Features:

• Electric drum brake design that is activated by your vehicle's brake controller
• Left-hand (driver side) and right-hand (passenger side) assemblies are offered across the product line
• Complete assembly with backing plate, brake shoes, and electromagnet for straightforward installation
• Suited to utility, cargo, equipment, and boat trailers, as well as campers and other towed loads
• Easier to install than hydraulic brake systems, and a good fit for DIY maintenance

Brake size and axle capacity vary by model. Select the variant that matches your axle's rating, drum size, and the side of the trailer you are fitting. Check brake shoes, magnets, and adjustment regularly to keep your trailer braking reliably and safely.
