Mayhew Cape Chisel

The Mayhew Cape Chisel is a hand-striking cold chisel for cutting keyways, slots, and narrow grooves in metal. It is also known as a cape chisel or keyway chisel. Its narrow cutting edge is used to work in tight spaces where a standard flat cold chisel is too wide.

Key Features:

• Narrow, tapered cutting edge for cutting grooves, slots, and keyways
• Made for use with a hammer in metalworking, maintenance, and repair
• Steel construction for striking durability
• Designed to cut channels and relieve material in layout and fabrication work

Mayhew is a well-known American brand of hand tools, including chisels, punches, and pry bars. The Cape Chisel line is a dependable, practical addition to a mechanic's, machinist's, or fabricator's toolbox. Wear eye protection when striking any chisel.
