Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE AOS Digital Caliper

The Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE AOS Digital Caliper is a precision electronic caliper for accurate inside, outside, depth and step measurements in the shop, tool room or inspection area. It uses Mitutoyo's ABSOLUTE encoder technology, so you can use it as soon as you turn it on without resetting the origin.

Key Features:

• ABSOLUTE encoder system: Keeps its position reference when switched off and back on. This reduces repeated zeroing and the chance of errors from a lost count.
• AOS (Advanced Onsite Sensor) technology: Uses an electromagnetic induction sensor that tolerates the dust, coolant and oil common in workshops.
• Digital LCD readout: Gives clear numerical values, so readings are fast and consistent between users.
• Inch and metric measuring: Switch between units with a button for working to different drawings and specifications.
• Stainless steel construction: Hardened measuring surfaces and a durable beam resist wear and keep accuracy over time.
• Multiple measuring functions: Includes jaws for outside and inside measurements, plus a depth bar for depth readings.
• Convenient controls: Includes zero or origin set and a thumb-operated slider for one-handed use.

Backed by Mitutoyo's reputation for metrology instruments, this caliper line suits machinists, inspectors, engineers, fabricators and technicians who need dependable, repeatable measurements. Choose the variant that matches your measuring range requirement.
