Asco Normally Open Vent Valve 0-5 PSI

The Asco Normally Open Vent Valve is a 2-way, normally open gas vent valve for low-pressure fuel gas systems rated for 0-5 PSI. It belongs to Asco's Series 8214 line of diaphragm-type valves. It stays open when de-energized, so it vents by default. It closes only when the solenoid is energized.

Key Features:

• Normally open, 2-way operation: The valve stays open without power, which suits fail-safe venting.
• 0-5 PSI operating range: Designed for low-pressure gas service.
• Redundant sealing: A double disc design with overtravel gives leak-tight shutoff when the valve is closed (energized).
• Position indication: Valves with the C suffix have a visual open/shut indicator. They also have an integral electrical position switch for proof of closure.
• Diaphragm-type construction: Internal pilot operation is built for fuel gas service.

Asco is a well-known name in industrial solenoid valves and fluid control. These vent valves suit gas train and burner safety applications where reliable venting and shutoff confirmation matter. Choose the variant that matches your piping.
