Kenda Rim Strip

The Kenda Rim Strip, also called a rim tape or rim band, is a flexible liner that sits in the drop center of a wheel's rim well. It covers the spoke nipple heads and rough rim edges, so they can't pinch or puncture the inner tube. It's made for use with tube-type tires on spoked wheels.

Key Features:

• Shields the inner tube from spoke nipples and sharp rim surfaces
• Flexible rubber-style construction that conforms to the rim well
• Helps the tube and tire seat evenly on the wheel
• Helps prevent flats caused by chafing and spoke-hole punctures
• Made by Kenda, a long-established tire and tube manufacturer

Whenever you install or replace a tire and tube, fit a fresh rim strip. It's an inexpensive way to protect the tube and keep the wheel running reliably. Each variant in the Kenda Rim Strip line is made for a specific rim width and diameter, so choose the one that matches your wheel.
