Siemens Hot Gas Bypass Valve

The Siemens hot gas bypass valve (also called a modulating refrigerant bypass valve or magnetic refrigerant valve) is part of the Siemens Building Technologies M3FB series. It is built for refrigeration and HVAC systems. The valve modulates the flow of hot refrigerant gas around the evaporator. This helps with capacity control and with preventing compressor short cycling. It is also suitable for heat-recovery diverting applications in closed-loop systems.

Key Features:

• Modulating operation with a magnetic actuator, for smooth and accurate refrigerant flow control
• 24 VAC operation with a selectable control signal, such as 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA, when used with a ZM series control module
• Spring return function that closes the valve if power is lost
• Steel valve body with a CrNi steel and brass inner valve set
• Soldered connections, and the valve can be mounted in any position
• Compatible with common organic safety refrigerants such as R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A and R507
• Maintenance-free design with high resolution and good control accuracy

Siemens Building Technologies valves are widely used in commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. They give dependable, repeatable control in demanding applications. Choose the variant that matches your system's capacity requirements.
