Forney Welding Metal Cut-Off Wheel Type 27

The Forney Welding Metal Cut-Off Wheel Type 27 is an aluminum oxide abrasive wheel for cutting, notching and light grinding of ferrous metals. It has a Type 27 depressed center (also called a raised hub) design and a 7/8 in arbor. It is meant for use with right angle (angle) grinders.

Key Features:

• Type 27 depressed center design: Suits grinding, notching and cutting work on an angle grinder.
• Aluminum oxide abrasive: Cuts and abrades ferrous materials such as steel.
• Versatile applications: Made for metal cutting, metal abrasion, body work, metal fabrication and general repair work.
• 7/8 in arbor: Fits right angle grinders that use a 7/8 in arbor. Use proper adapters if your grinder needs them.
• Bonded abrasive construction: Each wheel is marked with its abrasive specification and maximum RPM. Always stay within the RPM marked on the wheel.

Forney Industries makes abrasives for welders, fabricators, auto body technicians and home workshops. This line is a practical choice for shop, job site and garage cutting and fabrication tasks. Choose the wheel thickness that suits your cutting or grinding job, and follow the safety guidance supplied with the wheel.
