Forney Welding Type 29 Flap Disc Zirconia

The Forney Welding Type 29 Flap Disc with zirconia abrasive is a flap disc (also called a flap wheel or abrasive sanding disc) for grinding, blending, and finishing on an angle grinder. The Type 29 conical profile lets you work at an angle. That makes it a good choice for removing weld material, smoothing edges, and shaping metal surfaces.

Key Features:

• Zirconia alumina abrasive cloth flaps for aggressive stock removal and a long service life
• Type 29 (angled, conical) design for grinding and blending at an angle
• Overlapping abrasive flaps wear down gradually to expose fresh abrasive and give a consistent finish
• Grinding and finishing in a single step, so you can often skip separate grinding and sanding steps
• Suited to steel, stainless steel, and other metals
• Available in different grit options for heavier removal or finer finishing

Forney Industries has made welding and metalworking supplies for decades. This flap disc line is meant for fabrication shops, metalworkers, and DIY users who need dependable abrasives for weld cleanup, deburring, and surface preparation.
