Renthal Fatbar Carbon Handlebar

The Renthal Fatbar Carbon handlebar is a lightweight carbon fiber MTB and downhill handlebar (also called a riser bar). Renthal designed it as a race bar for downhill. Its low weight also makes it a good fit for trail and enduro bikes that need a super-wide bar.

Key Features:

• Full uni-directional (UD) carbon construction: The carbon fibers are placed and oriented to maximize strength and fine-tune stiffness.
• Ride-tuned flex: The layered fibers are aligned for specific flex characteristics. The result is a balance of control, strength and shock absorption.
• Race geometry: The bar uses a proven 7° back sweep and 5° up sweep, with a range of rise options to suit different bikes and riders.
• Impact strength: The bar is designed to significantly surpass the EN BMX drop test standard.
• Setup aids: It has permanent graphics, a set-up grid and cut marks, so you can align controls and trim the bar accurately.
• Fork compatibility: It works with downhill and twin crown forks.

The Fatbar Carbon has a reputation as a World Cup downhill race bar. It suits riders who want precise steering, a stiff front end and low weight.
