Racing Power Co. Billet HEI Distributor

The Racing Power Co. Billet HEI Distributor is a one-piece, high-energy ignition distributor. It replaces a stock points or factory electronic ignition setup with a cleaner HEI-style design. The coil and module sit inside the distributor, so you don't need a separate coil and external ignition wiring. This gives an engine bay a tidy look and makes for a simpler ignition installation.

Key Features:

• CNC-machined billet aluminum housing with a polished finish
• HEI-style design with an internally positioned coil and module
• Simple one-wire hookup to a switched 12-volt source
• Male HEI-style cap with brass terminals
• Vacuum advance
• Made for non-computer-controlled ignition systems
• Rated for use up to 8,000 RPM

These distributors use the proven High Energy Ignition layout pioneered by GM. They suit street, street/strip and performance builds that need strong, dependable spark. The billet construction gives a durable, good-looking part. Racing Power Co. offers the line in more than one cap color.

Intended for uncontrolled (non-emissions-controlled) vehicles and closed-course competition use.
