Racing Power Co. Universal Residual Check Valve

The Racing Power Co. Universal Residual Check Valve (also called a residual pressure valve or brake residual valve) helps keep your hydraulic brake system primed and the pedal feel firm. It is designed for universal use in custom, street and racing brake setups.

Key Features:

• Retains a set amount of residual pressure in the brake line, which stops fluid from draining back into the master cylinder
• Helps keep caliper pistons and wheel cylinders from fully retracting, so the pedal feels firmer and the brakes respond faster
• Helps prevent spongy pedal feel and brake bleed-back
• Useful with under-floor mounted master cylinders
• Lightweight anodized aluminum construction
• Made in the USA
• Available in different residual pressure ratings to suit disc brake or drum brake applications

Residual check valves are a popular addition to brake system builds and upgrades. Drum brakes need more residual pressure than disc brakes to offset return spring tension, so choose the pressure rating that matches your brake type.
