Airtex EVAP Vapor Canister

The Airtex EVAP Vapor Canister (also called a fuel vapor canister or charcoal canister) is a key part of your vehicle's evaporative emission control system. It captures and stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank so they don't escape into the atmosphere. Those vapors are later drawn into the engine and burned.

Key Features:

• Activated carbon design that adsorbs and holds fuel vapors until the engine can use them
• Helps the vehicle meet evaporative emission standards and reduces hydrocarbon emissions
• Replaces a canister that is cracked, saturated, or clogged
• Helps prevent fuel odor, check engine lights, and evaporative system (EVAP) trouble codes caused by a failed canister
• Built by Airtex, a well-known name in fuel and emission system components

A working vapor canister helps the vehicle run properly, keeps fuel odors down, and supports emissions system performance. Check the individual listings in this product line for specific part numbers and details.
