Metra 18 Gauge Primary Wire 500 Foot Spool

The Metra 18 gauge primary wire on a 500 foot spool is a general-purpose copper hookup wire. Installers use it for remote turn-on leads, ground and accessory connections, and other low-current 12V circuits. It is also sold as Install Bay primary wire, which is a Metra brand. It suits car audio and video installs, trailer and camper hookups, and similar automotive, marine and RV wiring.

Key Features:

• 18 gauge copper construction with multi-strand conductors for good conductivity and signal transmission
• 500 foot spool for easy storage and access, and for cutting to custom lengths
• Enough wire for multiple installations from one spool
• Color-coded options make it easier to trace circuits and keep wiring organized
• From Install Bay, a Metra brand

A full spool lets shops and DIY installers keep wire on hand. Choose the color that matches the circuit you are wiring.
