Sea-Dog Line Galvanized Wire Rope Thimble

The Sea-Dog Line Galvanized Wire Rope Thimble protects the eye of a wire rope splice or termination from pinching, chafing and premature wear. Often called a wire rope thimble or rigging thimble, it holds the rope in a smooth, rounded shape around shackles, rings and other attachment points. This helps the rope keep its strength and last longer.

Key Features:

• Galvanized finish gives dependable corrosion resistance for marine and outdoor use
• Teardrop-style channel design supports the wire rope and keeps its bend radius uniform
• Shields the rope from wear where it contacts hardware
• Suits rigging, mooring, anchoring, towing and general utility work
• Works with wire rope clips or swaged and spliced eye terminations

Sea-Dog Line makes marine hardware for boaters and riggers. This thimble is a simple, durable way to improve the reliability and service life of your wire rope terminations. Choose the variant that matches your wire rope diameter.
