Carrier Dual Run Capacitor

The Carrier Dual Run Capacitor is a replacement motor run capacitor for residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. A dual run capacitor (also called a dual capacitor or run capacitor) combines two capacitors in a single housing. It supports both the compressor and the condenser fan motor from one component.

Key Features:

• Dual-capacitor design serves the compressor and the fan motor in one unit
• Helps motors start and run smoothly and efficiently
• Built for dependable operation in HVAC outdoor condensing units
• Carrier replacement part that matches the electrical ratings of the original component
• Mounts with a bracket or strap in the condensing unit

A failing capacitor can cause hard starts, humming, overheating, or a fan or compressor that won't run. Replacing it restores proper motor performance and helps protect other system components. Always disconnect power and safely discharge the capacitor before installation. Match the capacitance (MFD) and voltage ratings to the original part.
