OTC Tools CV Joint Puller Fork

The OTC Tools CV Joint Puller Fork is an accessory tool head for pulling inner CV joints and CV axle shafts. It works in tight spaces and takes little effort. It is a safer choice than makeshift tools, which can damage the transaxle case, boot or bearing. Use it with a slide hammer to remove CV joints that are held in by hidden retaining rings.

Key Features:

• Fork-only puller head. It is designed to be used with a slide hammer.
• The fork face is beveled and the tips are angled. This gives the clearance needed to fit behind the CV joint and make good pulling contact.
• Works with the OTC 1155 slide hammer, the OTC 7508 slide hammer extension, or any slide hammer with 5/8"-18 threads.
• Suits obstructed and limited-access applications.
• Jam nut included.
• The design, robust materials and precision manufacturing are meant to give a long service life in busy shops.

The slide hammer gives a straight, even pull. This helps the axle assembly come out of the transaxle without damage. It is a practical addition to a professional or home drivetrain tool set.
