Trane Programmable ECM Blower Motor

The Trane Programmable ECM Blower Motor is a replacement HVAC blower motor for Trane residential heating and cooling systems. It uses an electronically commutated motor (ECM) design. Because the motor is programmable, it can be configured to match the airflow needs of the system it serves. It is also called an ECM furnace blower motor or air handler blower motor.

Key Features:

• Electronically commutated motor (ECM) technology for efficient, variable-speed operation
• Programmable design, so the motor can be set up to the required airflow and operating profile
• Quieter, smoother running than standard fixed-speed PSC blower motors
• Designed to drive the indoor blower in furnaces and air handlers
• Available in multiple horsepower and voltage configurations, each under its own part number

ECM motors adjust their speed to the demand on the system. This can reduce energy use and improve comfort through steadier airflow and more even temperatures. Choose the variant that matches the horsepower and voltage of your original motor.
