3M Hookit Flexible Abrasive Hand Sheet

The 3M Hookit Flexible Abrasive Hand Sheet is a thin, film-backed sanding sheet (also called a flexible abrasive sheet or hook-and-loop hand sanding sheet) made for fine sanding and finishing in auto body and collision repair work. The film backing is very flexible. It conforms to contoured and irregular surfaces and to hard-to-reach areas such as door pockets and jambs.

Key Features:

• Thin, flexible film backing: Conforms easily to tools and curved surfaces for fine sanding, wet or dry.
• Aluminum oxide abrasive: Gives consistent cut and a refined finish.
• Hookit hook-and-loop attachment: Allows quick sheet changes and lets you reuse a sheet across multiple jobs.
• Better surface feel: A softer, closer feel helps minimize burn-through and extends sheet life.
• Face-side color coding: Lets you identify the right sheet for each sanding step.
• Versatile use: Wrap the sheet around hand sanding tools or accessory pads, or use it for machine scuff sanding.
• Accessory hand pad: 3M documents one hand sanding pad in each box.

These sheets suit primer sanding, e-coat sanding, clear coat scuffing, blend preparation, removing dirt nibs and texture from refinish clear coat, and paint finishing. Each variant in the family is a different grit grade. Choose the one that matches your sanding step. For industrial and occupational use.
