Motorcraft SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic Diesel Motor Oil

Motorcraft SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic Diesel Motor Oil is a full synthetic diesel engine oil. It is built to handle the high temperatures and demands of modern diesel engines. It is formulated to API CJ-4 standards, so it can handle high operating temperatures while keeping a low-viscosity 5W-40 flow. It also helps meet strict emissions requirements.

Key Features:

• Full synthetic SAE 5W-40 formulation for diesel engines
• Meets Ford specification WSS-M2C171-F1
• Formulated to API CJ-4 oil standards
• Suitable for use over a wide temperature range, from about -20°F (-29°C) to over 100°F (38°C)
• Recommended for North American Ford diesel engines, including the 3.2L Power Stroke
• Can also be used in older diesel engines where API categories CD, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4, CI-4, CI-4 Plus or CJ-4 are recommended
• Performs well in older-generation diesel engines running on high-sulfur fuel

Genuine Motorcraft oil is engineered by Ford to help protect critical engine parts from wear, reduce sludge and deposits, and support fuel economy. Do not use it in gasoline engines equipped with catalysts.
