Accelera X-Grip Studdable Winter Tire

The Accelera X-Grip Studdable Winter Tire is a studded-capable winter tire, also called a studdable snow tire. It is built for passenger cars, coupes and sedans in cold-weather driving. The tread is pinned for studs. Where studs are permitted, they add grip on ice and packed snow.

Key Features:

• Studdable tread design: The tire can be pinned with studs for extra traction on ice and snow. The stud pattern is distributed across the tread.
• Directional tread pattern: Cross grooves and wide grooves help clear water, slush and snow from the contact patch. This helps reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
• High sipe density: Extra sipes and edge blocks create more biting edges for grip on snow and ice.
• Continuous center rib: The rib supports straight-line stability and helps snow clear from the center groove for consistent traction.
• Winter-specific rubber compound: The compound is designed to stay flexible in freezing temperatures.

Winter tires like this one are intended for cold-weather use. They are not meant for periods when temperatures are consistently above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Stud use is restricted in some areas, so check local regulations before pinning the tires.
