Sumitomo HTR A/S All-Season High Performance Tire

The Sumitomo HTR A/S P03 is an all-season, high performance passenger tire (also called an all-season UHP tire) built for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, sedans and crossovers. It balances dry handling, wet braking and light-snow traction, so you get performance in a range of weather.

Key Features:

• Asymmetric tread pattern: The design reduces profile deformation while cornering. This improves stability and steering response.
• Fin-shaped water evacuation design: Wide circumferential grooves and angled channels move water out of the contact patch. This helps reduce hydroplaning risk.
• Miura-Ori 3D sipes: These add biting edges for grip on wet roads and in wintry conditions, and they help prevent irregular wear.
• Cross-designed grooves and sipes: The inboard ribs have these to improve road contact and winter traction.
• Silica-enhanced all-season compound: It supports wet grip and long tread life.
• Durable construction: A two-ply polyester casing, twin steel belts and a full-width nylon cap ply support durability, ride comfort and high-speed stability.
• High-tension bead apex: It stiffens the sidewall for better steering feel and response.
• M+S rated: Rated for mud and snow traction.

The HTR A/S P03 succeeds the HTR A/S P02. Sumitomo says it improves ride comfort, wet braking, tread life and winter traction. Sumitomo backs it with a limited treadwear warranty that varies by speed rating. Choose the size and load/speed rating that matches your vehicle's requirements.
