Hercules Avalanche TT Winter Tire

The Hercules Avalanche TT is a studdable winter tire for pickup trucks, larger SUVs and cargo vans. It is built for snow and ice traction in demanding cold-weather driving. It is made in the USA. It replaced the Avalanche X-treme LT in the Hercules Avalanche winter tire family.

Key Features:

• Snow Grip Technology: Proprietary tread design features work together for traction in extreme winter conditions.
• Snow Grabber grooves and zig-zag circumferential grooves: These trap and hold snow in the tread. Snow packed in the tread grips the snow on the road for snow-on-snow traction.
• Thin-gauge, full-depth siping: Greater sipe density creates more biting edges to grip snow and ice.
• Silica tread compound: It grips better on ice and stays pliable in cold temperatures for responsive handling and better wet traction.
• Center rib tie bars: These give the driver consistent feedback and a more stable feel.
• Studdable: The tread is pinned for optional studs, which add grip on ice.
• 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) rated for severe snow service.

The Avalanche TT is a winter tire (also called a snow tire) that gives light truck and van drivers much better winter performance than all-season tires when temperatures fall near or below freezing. It also rides more quietly than the tire it replaced.
