Dunlop Winter Maxx Winter Tire

The Dunlop Winter Maxx SJ8 is a studless winter tire (also called a snow tire) for crossovers, SUVs and light trucks. It is built for traction on snow, ice and wet roads in cold weather. The tire is not intended for use when temperatures stay consistently above 45°F.

Key Features:

• Nano-Fit silica rubber compound: stays flexible in low temperatures, so the tread keeps gripping the road in cold and icy conditions.
• 3D sipes with Maxx Sharp Edges and Miura-Ori design: add biting edges and tread-to-ice contact. They also help channel water away and interlock to stiffen the tread blocks for better dry handling.
• Directional tread with T-Shape grooves: helps grip snow, clear water and slush, and resist aquaplaning.
• Variable Array tread design: helps reduce road noise for a quieter ride.
• Round profile: supports handling stability and ride comfort.
• Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certified for severe snow service.
• Radial construction: a reinforced build suited to the weight of SUVs and light trucks.

The Winter Maxx line is backed by Dunlop's Maxx Warranty, which includes a seven-year warranty and a 50,000-mile limited tread life warranty. Check the warranty terms for details.
