Kumho Ecsta STX All-Season Performance Tire

The Kumho Ecsta STX (KL12) all-season performance tire is part of Kumho's Ecsta performance family. It is built for pickups, SUVs, CUVs and light trucks. The tire combines year-round traction with sporty, responsive handling and a quiet ride. Its directional tread suits drivers who want performance-tire manners on a utility vehicle in wet, dry and light winter conditions.

Key Features:

• Directional all-season tread: the tread pattern and rubber compound are designed to give consistent traction through the year.
• Wide water-evacuating grooves: two wide circumferential and lateral grooves move water out from under the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
• Large, stable tread blocks: they give a solid footprint and responsive steering.
• Variable pitch tread blocks: they help manage road harmonics, which lowers road noise and cabin noise.
• Jointless construction and bead reinforcement: this adds durability and a large contact patch for better steering response.
• Rim protector in the lower sidewall: it helps guard wheels against curb damage.

The Ecsta STX gives pickups, SUVs and crossovers the handling that was once mostly found on passenger-car performance tires. Each size in the line shares these design features and is a good fit for drivers who want a quiet, confident all-season tire.
