American Roadstar RT Rugged Terrain Tire

The American Roadstar RT Rugged Terrain Tire (also written R/T) is a rugged terrain, all-weather tire for light trucks and SUVs. It is meant for drivers who want dependable on-road manners and good traction on dirt, gravel, mud and other loose surfaces. The tread is built to carry you from the highway to the trail.

Key Features:

• All-weather traction: A stronger compound blend and a detailed tread pattern give grip in dry, wet and winter conditions. The line carries the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMS) winter weather symbol.
• Rugged terrain grip: Lateral and zigzag grooves bite into soft, loose and uneven surfaces, including mud, snow and sand.
• Self-cleaning tread: The tread design helps shed mud and snow so the footprint stays effective.
• Stable handling: Block placement and shoulder blocks improve steering response and driving stability.
• Even wear: Stepped block edges, tie bars and an optimized footprint help reduce irregular wear and stone retention, which supports a longer service life.
• Durable construction: Concave and convex sidewall styling adds strength for off-road use.
• Hydroplaning resistance: Circumferential grooves help channel water away from the contact patch.
• Refined highway ride: The tread pitch is tuned to reduce road noise and vibration.

The American Roadstar RT suits drivers who split their time between pavement and light off-road use. It is a good fit for daily driving, work, towing and weekend trips.
