Hankook Winter iON i cept SUV Studless Winter Tire

The Hankook Winter iON i*cept SUV (IW01A) is a studless winter tire for SUVs, crossovers and electric vehicles. It is built for traction and control on snow, slush and ice, and it carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol for severe snow service.

Key Features:

• Winter traction: The tread pattern and sipe placement are tuned for grip and handling on icy, slushy and snowy roads.
• Optimized sipe angles: The angled sipes improve braking and traction on snow.
• Grip Boost Technology: It increases cornering stiffness, which helps stability on heavier vehicles such as electric SUVs.
• Low rolling resistance: The high-silica ProDurable compound and Opti Cure Technology reduce rolling resistance. This can help extend driving range on electric vehicles.
• Wet grip: Water pipe kerfs in the shoulder blocks help drain water from the main grooves.
• Quiet ride: Noise Guard Technology and a V-shaped shifting pattern reduce tread pattern and cavity noise.
• Studless design: The tire has no studs. It also carries the M+S marking.

Winter tires like this one are designed for cold-weather use. They are not meant for temperatures that stay consistently above about 45°F. The tire is made with eco-friendly materials and is available in multiple sizes and load/speed ratings.
