Helix Chevy Standard Car Crossmember Kit with Rack Mount

The Helix Chevy Standard Car Crossmember Kit with Rack Mount is a front crossmember kit for installing a rack-and-pinion or independent front suspension (IFS) conversion in a classic Chevrolet car. It is built for hot rodders and restorers who want better suspension, handling and steering performance. It is also sold as a front suspension crossmember or frame crossmember kit.

Key Features:

• Heavy-duty 5mm steel construction for a strong foundation under the front end
• Steering rack mounts are built into the design so the rack can be positioned correctly
• Top hats are part of the kit design
• Pre-welded pins and welded gussets add strength and help with alignment
• Primer finish is ready for final paint or coating after installation
• Brackets and mounts are the hard-to-make pieces that would otherwise need to be fabricated
• Templates and instructions support a do-it-yourself installation

Helix builds crossmember kits to simplify a front suspension upgrade, so you get strong, accurate mounting points without fabricating your own parts. Check the individual variant listing for the exact application and part number.
