Trane Contactor Slotted Hex

The Trane Contactor Slotted Hex line is made up of genuine OEM replacement HVAC contactors for Trane and American Standard equipment. A contactor is an electromechanical switch, sometimes called a contactor relay. When the thermostat calls for cooling, a low-voltage coil pulls the contacts closed. That connects line-voltage power to loads such as the compressor and outdoor fan motor. When the call ends, the contacts release and the circuit opens.
