Armstrong Desert Dog MT Mud Terrain Tire Load Range E

The Armstrong Desert Dog MT is a mud-terrain (M/T) light truck and SUV tire. It is built for off-road use in mud, rocks, sand and dirt. This Load Range E version suits heavy-duty trucks that tow, haul or run aired down on the trail. Its rhino-horn-inspired tread comes from the Armstrong TRU-TRAC legacy. It is designed to give strong grip, traction and pulling power.

Key Features:

• Tuff Tusk tread blocks: Aggressive blocks give grip, traction and pulling power in mud and other tough conditions.
• Wide, angled shoulder scallops: These help clear water and mud and help resist hydroplaning on wet roads.
• Zigzag stone ejectors: Ejectors between the tread blocks help limit damage from stones and debris.
• Rugged sidewall blocks: Polyester sidewall construction acts as a shield and absorbs shock from rocks and obstacles.
• Load Range E (10-ply rated) construction: It is built for heavy-duty durability and load-carrying ability.
• Black sidewall: Radial, light truck (LT) construction with a symmetrical tread design.
• M+S rated: Marked as a mud and snow tire in the 4x4 category.

Mud-terrain tires like the Desert Dog MT are intended mainly for off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving. It is a good choice for drivers who want an aggressive look and dependable off-road performance on a light truck or SUV.
