Continental ExtremeContact Sport UHP Summer Tire

The Continental ExtremeContact Sport is an ultra-high-performance (UHP) summer tire for sports cars, performance coupes, sedans and muscle cars. It is meant for drivers who want responsive handling and strong grip on the street or at the track. It is also known as a max-performance summer tire.

Key Features:

• SportPlus Technology: Continental designed it to give responsive handling, better wet-road grip and longer tread life.
• Asymmetric tread design: The tread uses a summer-only compound. It supports stable cornering, precise steering response and high-speed handling.
• Wet-weather grooves: Deep circumferential grooves move water out of the contact patch to help resist hydroplaning.
• Tuned Performance Indicators: D and W symbols in the tread disappear as the tire wears. They show when it is no longer tuned for optimum dry or wet performance.
• Braking and ride: The tire is engineered for confident dry and wet braking. It also aims for a good balance of low road noise and tread life for a max-performance summer tire.

Please note: This is a summer tire. It is not intended to be driven, stored or serviced in near-freezing or below-freezing temperatures, or on snow or ice.

The ExtremeContact Sport line suits drivers who want high-performance traction and handling from a well-known tire manufacturer.
