Bridgestone Turanza Summer Touring Run-Flat Tire XL

The Bridgestone Turanza T005 run-flat summer touring tire (also called the Turanza T005 RFT) is built for quiet, comfortable daily driving with dependable wet and dry grip. It was designed to meet demanding original equipment specifications and is used as original equipment on select luxury and performance vehicles. This family is made up of Extra Load (XL) tires.

Key Features:

• Run-flat technology: The tire can keep supporting the vehicle after a puncture or loss of pressure, at reduced speed and for a limited distance.
• Wet performance: Wide circumferential grooves and an optimized tread pattern channel water away from the contact patch. This helps resist hydroplaning and improves wet grip.
• Advanced compound: A silica-rich compound with Nano Pro-Tech technology helps limit heat build-up. It supports grip, handling and low rolling resistance.
• Enhanced carcass: The carcass helps keep contact even across the shoulders during braking, which supports stability and braking performance.
• Ride comfort: The tire is engineered to cut road noise and vibration for a smoother, quieter ride.
• Extra Load (XL) construction: The tire is built for a higher load capacity at the specified inflation pressure.

This tire is a summer tire. It is not intended for use in snow, ice or freezing temperatures. Bridgestone's run-flat touring design suits drivers who want a refined ride, responsive handling and long tread life.
