Wells 4B1644 Vapor Canister EVAP Fuel Vapor Charcoal Canister

The Wells 4B1644 Vapor Canister, also called an EVAP canister, charcoal canister or carbon canister, is part of the evaporative emission control system. It stores and contains fuel vapors from the fuel system so they are not released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form and function
• Suits both domestic and imported vehicle applications
• Includes OE-style brackets, hardware and electrical connectors when applicable
• Mounts near the fuel tank, like the original canister

A failing vapor canister can cause stalling or drivability problems, poor fuel economy and a check engine light. Replacing it helps restore proper evaporative system operation and emissions performance.
