5 Star SCT BDX Performance Tuner with Custom Tunes for EcoBoost EFI Programmers

The 5 Star SCT BDX Performance Tuner with Custom Tunes is a handheld EFI programmer for EcoBoost engines. It pairs an SCT BDX flash tuner with custom engine calibrations from 5 Star Tuning. Use it to raise horsepower and torque, sharpen throttle response, and improve drivability, towing and shifting.

Key Features:

• Handheld SCT BDX programmer that loads custom calibrations through the vehicle's diagnostic port
• 5 Star custom tunes that adjust boost pressure, fuel curves and ignition timing to make use of the added airflow
• Transmission and shift-strategy revisions in applicable calibrations, for better shifting and low-end torque
• Application-specific and octane-based tune options, so you can match the tune to the fuel you run
• SCT canned tunes included on the device alongside the 5 Star custom tunes
• Stores your factory (stock) calibration so you can return the vehicle to stock for troubleshooting or service
• Real-time monitoring of engine parameters such as RPM, speed and coolant temperature
• User-adjustable parameters, including tire size, on supported applications

This is more than a basic flash programmer. 5 Star's custom tuning aims to give EcoBoost owners strong power gains for daily driving, towing, off-road use or spirited performance. The number of tunes included and the tuning options vary by application.
