Auburn Ignitors Flame Rod with NPT Mounting

The Auburn Ignitors Flame Rod with NPT Mounting is a flame sensor (flame sensing rod or flame probe) for gas-fired combustion equipment. It is used in industrial burners, boilers, ovens, heaters, furnaces and flare stack systems. The rod detects flame through ionization (flame rectification). It passes a small current through the flame to the flame-safeguard control. If the flame is lost, the control can shut off fuel delivery.
