Erie By Schneider Electric Floating Control Valve

The Erie by Schneider Electric Floating Control Valve is a PopTop modulating zone valve assembly. It pairs a brass valve body with a 24 VAC electric actuator, and it controls hot and chilled water flow in HVAC systems. Typical uses include fan coil units, VAV reheat, unit ventilators, air handling units and radiant applications. This line is also called a modulating zone valve, a three-wire floating valve or a PopTop valve actuator assembly.

Key Features:

• Floating (three-wire) control: The actuator works with any 24 VAC three-wire floating signal. It has time-out logic for the valve-closed operation.
• 3-way configuration: The valves are three-way mixing valves. Three-way valves are normally closed, and reversing the valve body gives normally open flow.
• Non-spring return actuator: This is a non-spring return design with a magnetic clutch. The clutch helps extend the life of the motor and gear train.
• Easy field setup: A manual operating lever also serves as a position indicator. Lever-style terminal blocks simplify wiring, and the actuator can be installed after the valve body is piped.
