Raybestos Street Performance Slotted Brake Rotor

The Raybestos Street Performance Slotted Brake Rotor line (R-300 series) is a disc brake rotor upgrade for drivers who want better braking feel than a standard replacement rotor gives. The rotors suit performance street vehicles, work trucks, fleet vehicles and family vehicles that tow.

Key Features:

• S-Groove slot design: The slots are meant to increase pad-to-rotor contact. Raybestos says this improves pedal feel and bite, gives smoother braking and extends pad life.
• Cooling vanes: The vanes follow OE configurations to help cooling, reduce fade and noise, and help pads last longer.
• Corrosion-resistant coating: The coating reduces rust to help airflow, cooling and appearance. The coating type and finish depend on the application.
• Application-specific iron: The iron is chosen to help keep brakes quiet, cool and free of vibration. It meets the SAE standard for tensile strength, which supports structural integrity and service life.
• Precision balanced: The edges are mill balanced to reduce vibration.
• Non-directional design: The rotors can be used on any corner of the vehicle.

These slotted brake rotors (also called slotted brake discs) are intended for street use with stock calipers. They give a quieter, more responsive and more durable braking upgrade.
