Carrier Suction Line Service Valve OEM Replacement

The Carrier suction line service valve (also called a suction service valve or low-side service valve) is an OEM replacement part for Carrier residential HVAC air conditioning and heat pump systems. It sits on the suction line at the outdoor unit. Technicians use it to shut off refrigerant flow and to connect gauges for system service.

Key Features:

• OEM replacement: Factory-authorized Carrier part for restoring the original service connection on the suction line
• Service access: Provides the connection point for gauges, evacuation and refrigerant charging
• Shut-off function: Isolates the suction line so the system can be serviced
• Brazed line connection: Installs into the refrigerant line set at the outdoor unit
• Replaces leaking or damaged valves: Fixes valve stem or port leaks that can't be repaired in the field

Service valves are normally replaced as a complete assembly. Protect the valve body from heat while brazing, for example by wrapping it in a wet rag or using a heat-blocking compound. Overheating during installation can damage the internal seals. Measure the existing line size before ordering, and choose the variant that matches it.
