Gates Micro-V Serpentine Belt K Section Ribs

The Gates Micro-V serpentine belt (also called a multi-rib belt, poly-V belt or accessory drive belt) is a K section ribbed belt. It drives multiple engine accessories from a single belt, such as the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor. Gates designed this line for dependable power transmission in modern serpentine drive systems.

Key Features:

• K section (PK profile) multi-rib design with several lengthwise ribs that run along the belt for smooth, quiet operation
• Ribbed construction gives a large contact area with the pulleys, which helps transfer power efficiently
• Flexible, durable rubber construction with reinforcing tensile cords to resist stretching
• Built to handle heat, oil exposure and the constant flexing of a serpentine drive
• Compatible with the single-belt layouts used on many automotive and light-duty applications

Gates is a well-known manufacturer of belts, hoses and power transmission components, and supplies both OE and aftermarket markets. Replacing a worn serpentine belt helps prevent squealing, slipping and the loss of power to critical engine accessories. Each belt in this line is sold under its own part number, with the rib count and length shown on the individual listing.
