Wells Vapor Canister Evaporative Emissions Control

The Wells Vapor Canister is part of the evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system. It is also called a charcoal canister, fuel vapor canister or EVAP canister. The canister traps fuel vapors from the fuel tank so they do not escape into the atmosphere. This helps the vehicle meet emissions requirements.

Key Features:

• Stores fuel vapors from the fuel system. It releases them to the engine intake to be burned during normal operation.
• Activated carbon inside the canister absorbs and holds the vapors.
• Replaces a worn, saturated, cracked or damaged canister.
• Helps restore proper EVAP system function. This can help resolve fuel odor and EVAP-related check engine light codes.
• Backed by Wells, a long-established supplier of engine management and emissions components.

A working vapor canister helps the vehicle keep emissions in check and keeps the fuel system running as designed. Check the part number for your application before ordering.
