GPD A/C Compressor with Clutch Direct Drive

The GPD A/C Compressor with Clutch Direct Drive is a replacement air conditioning compressor, also called an AC compressor or A/C compressor assembly. It comes with the clutch assembly and is built to restore cooling performance in the vehicle's air conditioning system.

Key Features:

• Clutch included: The electromagnetic clutch engages and disengages the compressor as the A/C system calls for cooling.
• Direct drive design: The compressor is driven directly by the engine's serpentine belt and turns the crankshaft's rotational power into refrigerant pressure.
• Core A/C function: It circulates and pressurizes refrigerant through the condenser, evaporator and lines to produce cold cabin air.
• Replacement part: It is intended to replace a worn, noisy, leaking or seized compressor.

A failing compressor can cause weak cooling, unusual noises or a clutch that won't engage. Installing a replacement compressor helps restore reliable A/C operation. For best results and long service life, replace the receiver/drier or accumulator, flush the system as needed, and follow proper evacuation and recharge procedures.
