Wells Distributor Ignition Pickup Sensor

The Wells Distributor Ignition Pickup Sensor (also called a distributor pickup coil, ignition pickup, or reluctor pickup) is a replacement part for distributor-based ignition systems. It senses the rotation of the distributor shaft and sends a timing signal to the ignition module or engine computer. That signal tells the system when to fire each spark plug.

Key Features:

• Replacement ignition pickup sensor for distributor-equipped engines
• Produces the timing signal the ignition system needs to trigger spark
• Built by Wells, a long-established supplier of aftermarket ignition and electrical components
• Designed to restore proper ignition timing and engine operation

A worn or failing pickup can cause hard starting, a no-start condition, stalling, misfires, rough running, or hesitation. Installing a new pickup sensor can resolve these problems and restore dependable engine performance.
