Wells EVAP Vapor Canister Evaporative Emission Control

The Wells EVAP vapor canister (also called an evaporative emission canister or charcoal canister) is a replacement part for the evaporative emission control system. It stores fuel vapors from the fuel system so they don't escape into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Stores fuel vapors produced in the fuel tank. The engine later draws them into the intake to be burned.
• Engineered and tested to match OE parts in fit, form and function.
• Suits both domestic and imported vehicles.
• Comes with OE-style brackets, hardware and electrical connectors when applicable.
• Helps the EVAP system work as designed and helps the vehicle meet emissions requirements.

The vapor canister is normally located near the fuel tank. A failing canister can cause stalling or drivability problems, poor fuel economy, or a check engine light. Replacing it restores proper EVAP system operation. Wells has supplied emissions and engine management parts for more than a century.
