R1 Concepts Drilled Slotted Brake Rotor Performance RNC Series

The R1 Concepts RNC Series Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotor is a performance disc brake rotor built as a direct-fit replacement for factory rotors. Cross-drilled holes and machined slots work together to improve heat dissipation, help reduce brake fade, and keep the pad surface clean. The result is more consistent stopping power on the street and during spirited driving.

Key Features:

• Drilled and slotted design: The holes help vent heat, gas, and water from the rotor face. The slots sweep dust and debris off the pad surface and help prevent glazing.
• Cast iron construction: The rotors are made from high-carbon, G3000-grade grey cast iron for strength, thermal stability, and long service life.
• Corrosion-resistant coating: A zinc coating on the non-friction surfaces resists rust and keeps the rotor looking clean. The coating on the braking surface wears away during the bed-in process, which is normal.
• Precision balanced: The rotors are machined to OE-style tolerances to promote smooth braking with minimal vibration.
• Direct bolt-on fit: They install in place of the original rotors with no modifications.

The RNC Series suits drivers who want better braking performance and rotor longevity than a standard OE-style rotor, without moving to a big brake kit. Following the recommended brake pad bed-in procedure after installation helps give the best performance and quiet operation.
