Motorad Throttle Position Sensor

The Motorad Throttle Position Sensor (also called a TPS or throttle position switch) is a replacement engine management sensor. It monitors the angle of the throttle plate and sends that information to the engine control module (ECM/PCM). The module uses the signal to adjust fuel delivery, ignition timing, and transmission shift points, so the engine responds smoothly when you accelerate.

Key Features:

• Designed to replace a worn or failing throttle position sensor
• Gives the engine computer an accurate throttle angle signal for proper fuel and timing control
• Built to meet the form, fit, and function of the original part
• Made by Motorad, a brand known for thermal management and engine management components
• Can help resolve common symptoms such as rough idle, hesitation, stalling, poor fuel economy, and an illuminated check engine light

Replacing a faulty throttle position sensor can restore smooth throttle response and efficient engine operation. Choose the specific part number from this product line that matches your application.
