Dorman Lower Rearward Suspension Control Arm

The Dorman Lower Rearward Suspension Control Arm is a replacement rear lower control arm for restoring proper rear suspension geometry and ride control. Dorman offers this product line as an aftermarket alternative to the original equipment arm. It is a practical repair when the original arm is bent, worn, or corroded, or when its bushings or ball joint have failed.

Key Features:

• Replaces the original lower rearward control arm to help restore factory-style alignment and handling
• Designed to match the form, fit, and function of the original part for straightforward installation
• Built for durable, long-term service under everyday driving loads
• Helps address common symptoms of a worn arm, including clunking noises, uneven tire wear, wandering, and loose steering feel

A control arm connects the axle or wheel assembly to the vehicle frame. It lets the wheel move up and down with the road surface while holding the correct wheel position. Replacing a worn lower control arm helps keep the suspension stable and the tires aligned. A professional wheel alignment is recommended after installation.
