Facet Distributor Cap

The Facet distributor cap is an ignition replacement part for vehicles with a distributor-based ignition system. It is also called a distributor cover. The cap sits on top of the distributor housing. It routes high-voltage current from the ignition coil to each spark plug wire in the correct firing order. A fresh cap helps maintain a consistent spark, smooth idle and reliable starts.

Key Features:

• Distributes ignition voltage from the coil to the spark plug wires in the correct firing order
• Built from insulating, heat-resistant materials to withstand under-hood temperatures and electrical stress
• Terminals and contacts are designed for good conductivity and resistance to corrosion and wear
• Engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment cap
• Helps restore proper ignition performance and reduce misfires, hesitation and rough running

Facet is a long-established European maker of ignition, fuel and electrical components, and it supplies parts to the aftermarket worldwide. Replace the distributor cap together with the rotor during a tune-up to keep the ignition system working reliably. Check the cap for cracks, carbon tracking and worn or corroded terminals as part of regular maintenance.
