Holstein Throttle Position Sensor

The Holstein Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), also called a throttle position switch or throttle-positioning sensor, is an OE-grade replacement that monitors how far the throttle valve is open. It sends that data to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses it to set the correct air-fuel mixture for smooth engine operation.

Key Features:

• Provides accurate throttle valve position signals to the ECU for responsive acceleration and steady idle
• Built to meet or exceed OE requirements for form, fit, and function
• Made with heat-resistant materials for durability in high-temperature engine compartments
• Uses OE-style connectors and attachment points for straightforward installation on the throttle body
• Helps support fuel economy and lower emissions by maintaining proper air-fuel metering

Signs of a Failing Throttle Position Sensor:

• Check Engine Light illumination
• Rough idle or stalling
• Hesitation during acceleration
• Poor fuel economy
• Unresponsive throttle performance
