Autobest Fuel Pump Strainer Filter

Autobest Fuel Pump Strainers, also called fuel pump inlet filters, fuel tank strainers or fuel pump socks, protect your fuel system from contamination. The strainer sits on the inlet of the fuel pump or module assembly. It filters the gasoline in the tank before the fuel reaches the pump and the engine.

Key Features:

• Filters out dirt, rust, sediment and other debris that can damage the fuel pump
• Built to meet or exceed O.E. specifications for fit, form and function
• Made from fuel-resistant materials suited to modern fuel blends
• Direct-fit replacement design for straightforward installation
• Manufactured under strict quality control, from raw materials through final testing

Debris and contaminated fuel are leading causes of fuel pump failure. Replacing the strainer whenever you install a new fuel pump helps protect your investment and keeps fuel delivery reliable. Cleaning the inside of the fuel tank and replacing the strainer is also required to validate the warranty on a new fuel pump.
