Delphi Automatic Transmission Speed Sensor

The Delphi Automatic Transmission Speed Sensor (also called a transmission output speed sensor, input speed sensor, or vehicle speed sensor) monitors the rotational speed of internal transmission components. It sends that data to the vehicle's powertrain or transmission control module.

Key Features:

• Supplies accurate speed signals that the control module uses to time shifts, manage torque converter lockup and help maintain smooth gear changes
• Supports speedometer, cruise control and ABS or traction control functions on vehicles that use the signal
• Built to meet OE-style form, fit and function requirements for dependable operation
• Designed to hold up to heat, vibration and exposure to transmission fluid
• Made by Delphi, an established original equipment supplier of automotive electrical and electronic components

A failing speed sensor can cause erratic or harsh shifting, a faulty speedometer, cruise control problems, limp mode or a check engine light. Replacing it restores correct signal feedback to the transmission control system. Select the correct part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
