Facet Throttle Position Sensor

The Facet Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) monitors the position of the throttle plate and sends that information to the engine control unit. The ECU uses this signal to manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, idle control, and transmission shift points. It is also called a throttle position switch, TPS sensor, or throttle potentiometer.

Key Features:

• Reports throttle angle to the engine computer so the engine runs smoothly and efficiently
• Built to match the form, fit, and function of the original equipment sensor
• Made for dependable electrical performance under heat, vibration, and under-hood conditions
• Helps restore normal drivability, including steady idle, responsive acceleration, and consistent fuel economy
• Supplied by Facet, a long-established European aftermarket manufacturer of automotive fuel system and ignition components

A worn or failing throttle position sensor can cause rough idle, hesitation, poor acceleration, erratic shifting, or a check engine light. Replacing it with a Facet sensor helps bring the engine management system back to correct operation. Select the individual part number that matches your application.
